Friday Distractions: the post vacation blues edition

I'm back from vacation and I don't want to work (thought the lists pile up, the work awaits, the bills never cease) and like you, I need a distraction. So I won't leave you in a lurch, and in what has become a scheduled expectation, here are you Friday fun-day distractions:
- Sad or exciting news (depending) for us BSG (BattleStar Galactica) fans -- it appears that the ratings are slipping (not a huge surprise given the show is on the SciFi Channel and in a genre that has a loyal but small audience) and that a Season 4 is in jeopardy; but there is perhaps the potential for a direct to internet/DVD movie. If you aren't watching this show -- what is wrong with you! Get a move on, rent it now and watch one of the best shows on television
- I thought I had a problem with my memory, but this case is fascinating (you have to watch a commercial first; but its worth the wait)
- Not your everyday night light
- The weather in hell? Well, I'd imagine its hot with a chance of fire hurricanes
- Wonderfully textured illustrations by Amy Sol (though a bit "cutesy")
- Sweet 3D rabbit animation
- Great illustrations by Thomas Broome
- Need the perfect cliché, well there is a site just for you -- ClicheSite
- Completely useless but interesting
- This is the only reason I'll ever need to not move to Clearwater Florida. Insanity.
- And in related news, here is a comprehensive list of "terms" used by Scientologist. No wonder Tom Cruise acts crazy (he is crazy).
- Must be nice to find a 10,000 year old necklace (that is probably worth millions) MUSIC OF THE MOMENT Snowden -- Anti Anti (from Anti Anti)
