DAY 8
DAY 9 (?):
No one showed up yesterday (again). Getting tired of the inaction. Just want progress on this dinky little bathroom. Today (supposedly) is tile day. We'll see.

Today is lunch day with Abigail (at 11), so a short day - which seems to be the norm.

I unfortunately watched the debates last night. I wasn't impressed by anyone - Bush was who he always is, passionate, consistent, concise but not always eloquent. Kerry was polished, cerebral, thorough without a clear plan or outline, other than doing everything differently than Bush (not a platform, just a rebuttal). Perhaps a win for Kerry, but nothing that I think will suade those lingering on a fence (I truly believe those who aren't decided will just flip a coin and vote however - they truly don't care). I love that Kerry loves to focus on bringing in other nations - because we so need to emulate France and Germany. Ugh. Why. Who cares about France and Germany, they only care about themselves. The UN!? The UN is a complete waste of meetings and sanctions. Try raising a child the way the UN handles "delicate situations"; you'll end up with a spoiled brat who knows you don't mean what you say and they can toe the line without any consequence but a harsh word and waving finger. That equals chaos.
It'll be a close election, and Bush will win by a slim margin. Debates are frustrating, and somewhat pointless, and utlimately will change little.
Time to work on a logo. Inspiration? I hope I find some.
