Mmm, Fresh Roasted...

FIRE COFFEE!! I did my usual morning coffee roasting routine. Lately I've noticed the roaster has been turning itself off early or not completing roasting cycles. And this morning I hear Sonya screaming from the garage to find that the beans had been heated to a glowing ember state, catching fire, and essentially ruining the roaster. Great.
What stink is that I was in process of roasting many batches for friends; hopefully to start a small business of coffee to supplement our income, but back to the drawing board.
COMMENTS:
Wow... Sounds like our day, but instead of a coffee roaster it was a toaster oven and instead of us turning it on it was our cats... while we were gone.
Good thing we came home early for a Sunday nap!
Glad your place didn't catch fire!!!

Here's the lemonade: You could probably sell those burnt beans as "Starbucks" and nobody would notice the difference.
