I read this while sitting on the couch.
To think people are coming here, not just to a temporary stay till their house is ready to inhabit, but here to make a new life. To start over. With nothing in their pockets. No trucks following behind with their stuff. I pray God will use us effectively to help those people displaced (we have been praying about opening our home to someone for 30 days), or in some other capacity.
I can’t imagine the feeling of loosing home (not just the physical building, but everything related with home — smells, sights, sounds, things, work, etc).
