Dentists

Posted on November 9, 2004November 18, 2019 by Paul Armstrong

I have a dentist appointment today. I am not looking forward to it. I’ve never had a cavity, but I still hate going. I have tartar – which the dentist seems to never tire of reminding me. I’m well on my way to having gingivitis like my mom – as they also never tire of telling me. And each time I do they ask me if I know how to floss. Do I know how to floss!? You show me every time I come — write it down! Keep some records why don’t you instead of acting like this is the first time I’ve stepped through your doors!

It’s all a scam. I heard that the technology exists to eliminate the need for regular dental visits — toothpaste that removes plaque and tartar, cleans teeth as well, etc, but that doing so would remove a large chunk of our economy. I think we’d all recover just fine …
