The Saga of the Sick

Posted on February 15, 2005November 24, 2019 by Sonya Armstrong

Paul informed me last night that he was NOT going to get sick, as if anyone has any control over that. He clarified by saying; I’m working through it even if I am sick because I don’t have any time to spare — isn’t that the sad truth – he can’t afford a sick day even when he’s his own boss.

Today he woke up and has been hit smack in the face with the flu, but he’s pressing on. I have this little glimmer of hope though, that we will all be well enough this weekend to celebrate my birthday with Mom and Dad, and Kat and Drew who are all driving here to see us.

In other news; HA.

There’s no other news, except Abigail is happily back into the swing of things at school and I was blessed to have a good friend lovingly drop a couple of homemade dinners at our door, with Valentines for the kids as well! These things mean so much when we haven’t the energy to do them ourselves.

Thank you! We continue to be reminded, in our weakness, how much God loves us, through our friends.
