HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
Not much planned today. P.F. Changs. More house work, so that we can put the house “on the market” early as possible this week.
A message for mothers everywhere — you are worth celebrating. Let your family or friends pamper you. Your worth is not measured in money, or accomplishments, or titles, or status. Your worth is your unwavering love, sacrifice, and care. Your worth often say no earthly reward (and often no respect). There is no perfection in the world. We all mess up. We all “loose it”. We all make mistakes. Let no past, let no ill-tempered words, let no opinion or pressure deceive the worth or motherhood. Happy Mothers Day.
It’s sad that it takes selling a house (and the desire to milk as much value as possible for the house) to motivate us to finish projects we’ve had 7 years to complete. It took us 4 years to finish painting the kitchen. And patch cracks. And clean the basement. And remove clutter. Pathetic.
Thank you to all our friends for their help; whether it be in watching the kids, or helping to store boxes, or painting. We love you and value you!
